In a design world that often praises minimalism, the “less is more” mantra, I have always believed in its exact opposite: “more is more.” Not chaotic clutter, but a joyful celebration of stories, colors, and objects that, together, create a soul. This is the beating heart of Home Luxury Leonardo’s style, an approach we can call eclectic interior design.
What Eclectic Interior Design Means to Me
For me, decorating is not about following a rule, but about listening to an emotion. The eclectic style is the freedom to place a vintage car-sofa next to a Louis XVI chair, to mix a piece of pop art with an item found at a flea market. It’s not about “matching,” but about “harmonizing” different elements in a dialogue that tells a unique story: mine.
The Rule of No-Rules
How is this harmony created? By following a few “non-rules” that are the basis of my creative process:
- Every Object Must Have a Story: Whether it’s an old car part or a broken chair, I only choose objects that “speak” to me, that have a past and to which I can give a future.
- Color is Emotion: I am not afraid to use bold colors. An emerald green, an electric blue… colors define the energy of a space and influence our mood.
- Perfection is Boring: Small imperfections, the signs of time, asymmetries are what make an object and a space authentic and alive.
An Invitation to Explore
The entrance of Home Luxury Leonardo, as you see in the photo, is the synthesis of this philosophy. It’s an invitation to enter a world where every glance reveals a new detail, a new surprise. It’s a space designed not just to be beautiful, but to be explored, to stimulate curiosity, and to make you feel like you’re in a place that exists nowhere else.
